Uluppuni - Part of Idukki wild life sanctuary is situated 10 km from Palette hill view resort. The major attraction of Uluppuni is the picturesque meadows. Palozhukum Para

In Monsoon season, there are numerous water falls, small and big, on the way to Vagamon from any direction (via Erattupetta or Moolamattam or Elappara - the three routes to Vagamon). Palozhukum para (milk flowing rock) is one of the most famous water falls in the region. As the name says, the water looks like flowing milk with its white color. Murugan Mala is a small hill situated on the eastern side of Kurisumala. The temple of Lord Murugan, situated on this hill, was constructed using a single rock. Suicide Point -Para Gliding

Vagamon Suicide Point is a spectacular nature view point with a deep-seated valley. You get cherishing views of mountains and valley and can enjoy fresh air and light breeze. Thangal para is a famous locationin vagamon situated near kolahalmedu. Thangal para is a rocky mountain landscape where at the peak lies the resting place of a Sufi saint Hasrath Sheikh Fariduddin Baba who came from Afganistan 800 years ago and is now considered as a Muslim pilgrim center.

A collection of small meadows spread over a large area. There are interlocked small ponds at the valley of several meadows. This is one of the major movie shooting locations in Vagamon. Ideal time to visit the meadows is when the sun is not very intense.

Orchid Garden

Vagamon Orchidarium has more than 3000 varieties of both indoor and outdoor orchids, 200 varieties of roses and various other plants. It is spread over 15 hectare of land. Apart from the plants and flowers, this land is a collection of small meadows and a pond with open sitting and relaxing areas. You can also shop your favourite Orchid varieties and other natural products such as honey, bee wax, spices etc.

Kurisu Mala

Kurisumala, meaning the `Mountain of Cross’ is a Christian pilgrimage site. The hike starts at kallillakavala (Kurisumala base), where you will find the statue of "Jesus in Tabore". While hiking, you will pass 14 stations of "The way of the cross" to reach a small church built on rock at the peak of the hill. A welcoming light breeze is always awaiting you which will take away all your tiredness. Thousands of people hike Kurisumala during Easter season, especially on Good Friday.
